I havent posted in a while so I thought it would be a good time to post an update as a way of venting and if anyone is interested they are welcome to read about what is goin on :))))) If you haven't had a chance to read any of my previous blogs, I am Getting married in January to a very handsome fellow marine. This guy is my everything, hes better than chocolate and shoes..so that says a lot lol. Anyways his homecoming is in about 2 months, and i am sooo siked I dont think anyone could really understand how exciting a homecoming can be unless your a military gf fiance spouse or mom w.e but honestly its the best feeling ever. He has been away for almost 4 months, & it feels like 4 years to me! I got my gown, its absolutely gorgeous! its pale ivory mermaid style, strapless with a small ruffled train. I plan on getting an ivory birdcage veil as well, it has a vintage look about it that I love so hopefully it goes well with the dress. Another very exciting thing that I am stoked for is the Marine Corps Ball coming up in February! My fiance called recently & asked me  to go with him, best part is that it's in Las Vegas so i know its going to be legit!! plus I'll get to go shopping for another dress and shoes! ahhh I can't wait for it all to happen already.

H A L L O W E E N

Nineteen days of October have already gone by & I still have not found the perfect costume. I'm not sure if I want to stand out with a classic costume or just look like slut like all the other girls around my age. I remember when I was younger there was a year -I think I might have been like 5 or 6- when I dressed as a mermaid, my mom had bought me a full torquise/aqua colored mermaid/trumphet style dress and i wore cute sqequence shoe covers that matched. Now that i think about it I don't think i would mind wearing that now, only in my size and maybe substitute the shoe covers for some sexy silver Christian Louboutin pumps. I don't exactly have the fattest wallet so this year my costume is going to be on a budget for sure. Ive browsed a few DIY costumes, none have fufilled my standards of creativity or orginality so I'm obviously back to the drawing board. My first thought was to be a fire fighter, because I think fire fighters are absolutely gorgeous and i figured why not try to pull of the look with the whole jacket helmet thing..throw on some tights and over the knee black boots and viola got yourself a women fire fighter. I havent had much luck in finding any decent ones online; theyre all cheap looking and i could only imagine the plastic material sticking to my skin if I were to get hot in it, skin+plastic = not comfy at all. Howeverrrrr I did find a few that may do and fit within my snobby requirements. check em outtt

So for those who are close to me and know me well, know that i have a thing for shoes. I own more than my closet can fit, yet i still cannot help myself while shopping to walk into my favorite shoe stores. I dont buy them each time but just looking at them gives me a high! Just contemplate the feeling you get when eating your favorite comfort food or having sex. thats me and a new pair of boots or heels. The point of this blog is to express my love and passion, feel free to gawk at these shoes like i do. Trust me the person that created these lovely master pieces made them for this purpose.

B R I D E TO BE

hello my name is mariah, im engaged, yea yea i know i look young. well guess what i am young i am 18 years old. why am i getting married at such a young age? am i planning on finishing college? what are my plans for the future? how old is your fiance? are you planning on moving in together? when is the wedding? are you marrying in the courthouse or the chapel? what do you parents think? are you sure you are ready? blah blah blahhh what you have just read were just a few of the million questions i get asked whenever i mention that i am engaged. its a suprise to everyone i know and they usually would have never guessed because they never see me with a guy and i dont have a rock on my finger. To be honest sometimes i dont mind answering all of their questions and i dont get annoyed when they say i am young because im proud i have found someone to spend the rest of my life with and i want them to know that. when they question my age and such what are there intentions? who knows really but frankly, i dont care because its already in motion and theres nothing in the world that can prevent well you know..my wedding day. but anyways for those of you who are reading this, i will answer all of the questions above so that if i ever see you out on the street you wont have to ask because you already know. Why now at age 18? Why not now? i am in love, i want to be with my fiance for the rest of my life. there is no one that makes me happier and there is no one in the world that i think about more. okayy im 18..SOOO..what is your point. Its just a damn number..lol. Do you plan on finishing college? YES! of course, education..next to my husband to be, is my number one priority actually no..if i could have two #1 priorities it would be Jake and school. why should i have to choose? no one said either or & its certainly possible to have my cake and eat it too. if these two things make me happy and are able to satisfy my needs why would i get rid of one..Alot of the people who ask this often have the mind set that i will not finish school because I'm getting married but that isn't it at all. My fiance and I have had conversations regarding education and graduating from college, we both know what is important to one another and we both are determined as well as willing to work out anything in order to achieve the things we want. What are my plans for the future? its a very broad question, and I cannot answer that fully because i dont know what will happen in the future and its really hard to plan especially if you're living a military lifestyle, when you become a marine wife you basically become a marine..minus the deployment and training. However, I do have things i would like to do but I would like the question to be restated as "What are you both planning for the future?" because it will not just be me and only my decision anymore..yes I am def okay with that. Jake and I do plan on moving in together after I finish my first semester of college where I am getting my general education, I also plan on finishing that at another jr college over on his base called Copper Mtn College. His base is located in palm dessert specifically 29 Palms, California. Jake and I will probably be living there for a few years until he is stationed somewhere else. as for school at that point I don't know where I will attend my 4 year college but it is something that I plan on doing. How old is your fiance? Jake is currently 19, 20 next June. Are you planning on moving in together? Yes we do plan on do as i stated before, and yes i am aware that moving in with someone is very different from not living together. I am also aware that it will not be easy, I'm not able to measure the amount of difficulty I dont think anyone can so as far as that goes I believe every couple is different. Everyone comes across their own kind of issues, for some its about cleanliness, suffocation within the relationship, not enough together time, stubborness, financial issues. Either way there will be problems but we have to face them sometime right? bring it on. When is the wedding? the wedding will be held sometime in February after Jake comes back from his deployment. TBA asap. Are we getting married in the courthouse or the chapel? Well I know for sure we will not be getting married in a chapel because it takes 6 months prior to set a date, unfortunetly we missed that deadline, so as of now I believe we will either use an officiant or have it in the court house. What do my parents think? My parents will support me in all of the decisions I make whether or not they agree or disagree they will always be there for me. Are you sure you are ready? Am I sure? yes of course im absolutely positively sure. I'll admit im terrified of leaving the environment and lifestlye ive become accomadated to for the last 18 years of my life buttt i love jake more than anything, id do anything for him, and im ready to grow and exerience life, i want to know what other challenges life has for me. There you have it people xox

So I'm a newborn baby to this blogger site, so far I am loooving it! haha it's def going to be my new addiction. Old ones being style.com, facebook and twitter , now I'm welcoming blogging to my social networking addiction haha :) yes i have a real social life but i have to express my love for fashion and other important things in my life. It's basically my very own personal Online diary, whats better :P Instead of making a new post i should be taking a nap!! I'm not too sure how I'm going to get through my first event tonight working for a new agency. 4 HOURS OF SLEEP! Expresso? anyone.. I bought this new depuffing eye cream from Sephora by Benefit earlier today just in case i would need it tonight. Still need to memorize and practice saying "Siempre enfrenta el reto" and "no te abandona" a million times today before promoting the product haha oh jeez im so white washed..wish me luck! XOX

Fashion DO or DON'T?
Personally i think clogs are fugly. They're huge wooden blocks that you have to drag around, I mean I can only imagine how annoying that is. Not only that but they almost have the same structure as flip-flops, which have been studied to have negative effects on your muscles and can lead to joint pain in your ankles. yikes :x anyways, at one point sure clogs were cool (when I was eight) but as of now they're in the same boat as those hideous Croc shoes.
